We are searching for a dynamic and motivated Junior Analytics Engineer to board our team and lead the way to create the best data portfolio in the market!
The perfect candidate knows about good BI and how to develop rapidly ML models, but also understands the importance of timing our insights and how to deliver data products that answer the needs of our customers!
You will get the opportunity to work between the data engineers and the data product manager and get your hands on the best current tooling of the modern data stack.
This is an exceptional opportunity to have an impact on the creation of an ambitious data product and get concrete and various experiences in the data ecosystem!


As our Analytics Engineer, you will:

  • Dig in Subscription data to identify patterns and assist the product managers in developing high quality data insights (Python, SQL).
  • Bring Data and AI expertise to the team and contribute to our analytics portfolio.
  • Understand our current offering and prototype data products that match our customers' desires.
  • Develop forecasting models such as churn prediction or LTV estimation, using libraries such as Scikit-learn or TensorFlow.
  • Design the ML development life-cycle to build the MVPs (Minimal Viable Product) of our forecasting models.
  • Research on AI and make suggestions about how BIllwerk can make the best use of new innovations (GenAI, NLP, ...).
  • Collaborate with the data team to build up our data transformations and enrich our semantic layer (dbt).
  • Implement our MLOps environment (MLFlow)
  • Research on various data modelling techniques and improve the design of our semantic layer.

Job requirements

  • Currently studying for a data science degree or similar education.
  • Creative and innovative mind!
  • Knowledge or experience about delivering data products that goes beyond the buzzwords and deliver concrete added value!
  • Excellent technical skills (Python, SQL, AWS).
  • Experience or knowledge about ML-development lifecycle and ML Ops (MLFlow is a plus).
  • BI and Data Visualization skills. (Luzmo, PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
  • Knowledge about large scale data analysis, data management and cloud computing.
  • Knowledge about Cloud Technology (AWS, Snowflake) and modern data stack (Fivetran, dbt, ...) is a plus.
